My mother, Phyllis Witmer, is 96 years and going strong. She is the matriarch of our family, and we love having her in a community where she can enjoy life in a safe and active environment. Boardwalk truly is home.

My husband and I have lived in the Boardwalk Retirement Community for 22 years. The residents are wonderful and friendly, just like a large family. The community is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Moving here was the best thing we ever did.

My experience occurred during March and April 2020, when businesses were shut down due to Covid 19. Sandy Chambers was extremely instrumental in getting our deal done during this time.

We first moved to Boardwalk in 2010, we love it and are happy. We had found a happy, comfortable place to spend our retirement. People here are like family. It got even better when Sandy Chambers was hired. We were blessed by the number of activities she brought us, and we loved it! Activities were always full.

The reason why we moved into Boardwalk is a BEAUTIFUL & very quite place. My husband was over the road truck driver & he was only home 2 weekends out of the month, I felt very safe in here & got to know many friends. Went down to the club house had coffee & donuts every morning. Then the club house after noon & evening games. We have a blast down there. We have cookouts and birthday dinners. I feel safe taking walks. We thank God for Sandy Chambers, she brought joy in this community.

There was one specific spot that I have eyed for some time thinking if it ever became available, I would be interested. Not to mention how close I'd be to Mom to keep an eye on her. LSS; I am in my spot! Alice was AMAZING to work with and from the initial visit to the home, to move in, was quick (like only a month), painless and efficient. So if you are considering your "last home", come to Boardwalk and talk to Alice and she will get you home in no time!
